One of the moments that I remember fiercly from 2016, happened during my summer holidays. My wife and I were vacationing without our children for the first time in 25 years. On one of the sunnier days we decided to visit a cacti garden in the Italian flower riviera.

That’s when it happened – I was blown away by the beauty of these remarkable plants. Every corner was filled with extraordinary, interesting and sometimes even rare cacti. A strange specimen, covered in white, vermicelli-looking downy hair caught my attention with its striking colors, contrasting with the blue skies.

In this state, completely estranged from the every-day, stressful life and with my 20 Megapixel Carl Zeiss lens-smartphone ready, my inspiration thrived. I realized I had to do something with these pictures in my new computer program – but what? Analogies enough: from their beauty to their prickly protection.

Now, several months later, I succeeded. A small piece of beauty is captured within TMWalker 4. A small piece of beauty alongside its modern, functional simplicity. My way of sharing this exciting experience from 2016 with you, in 2017.
